Writing this novel has been a deeply personal journey, refining every word until the essence of redemption and renewal comes to life on the page. After years of shaping and refining this inspirational historical fiction, I am finally seeing it take the form it was always meant to have.
The Final Draft is Done!
After countless cups of coffee, late-night writing sessions, and more rewrites than I care to admit, The Potter’s Story is finally in its final stages. This story has lived in my heart for years, and now it’s coming together in a way that feels right.
Writing is a lot like shaping clay on a potter’s wheel. Sometimes it’s smooth, sometimes messy, but it always moves toward something meant to last. Right now, I’m polishing the last details, making sure this book shines as brightly as it deserves before it reaches your hands.
Cover Design – The Decision Showdown
Now, here’s the fun and slightly nerve-wracking part. The cover is currently undergoing split testing, which means I’m carefully analyzing feedback and selecting the design that best captures the heart of the story.
Choosing a cover feels like choosing the first handshake between a book and its reader. It must be inviting, authentic, and deeply connected to the novel’s soul. I promise, I’m making sure it’s just right.
The Reality of Launching a Book
I must admit that launching a book is much more complex than I imagined. Writing the novel was the creative joy. Watching characters come alive, weaving emotional depth, and bringing history to life was where the magic happened. Publishing, on the other hand, has been a completely different journey.
From formatting to marketing, distribution logistics to legal technicalities, it has been an education in patience and determination. I thought I was signing up for a pottery class, but somehow I ended up managing an entire pottery factory. Who knew?

Despite all the moving parts, I’m doing everything I can to get The Potter’s Story into your hands as soon as possible. Why? Because someone out there needs this book. Maybe they need its message of faith, purpose, and second chances. Maybe they need a story that reminds them of the beauty in coming home. That belief fuels me every single day.
